The Draft Rules and Schedule of By-laws* are now on the site secretaries page (log in to the members section of the website, click on the tab to the left of the page and scroll down to the links in green); please find time to read through them. These current drafts re-assembled the contents of the previous drafts to simplify them and remove duplication.
If you wish for any informal comments on the rules to be considered please send them to the Corby office by 16 December 2015.
The Management Committee will consider the comments before they finalise the drafts and table a formal motion for submission by 2 January 2016; this motion will be circulated at the beginning of February 2016, within the provisional 2016 AGM agenda in issue 1 of the Allotment and Leisure Gardener magazine; it will also be placed on the website.
After the 2 January 2016 any comments must be in the form of a formal amendment, which relates to a specific clause in the draft rules and must reach the Corby Office by 7 March 2016.
*The by-laws act as a guide to the rules and cover the detailed way in which the rules are applied for meetings, members, elections and management.
