Allotments a big hit in Parliament

The 25th to 28th June 2018 is the first "Evidence Week" in the UK parliament. It has brought together MPs, peers, parliamentary services,  community organisations, research and regulatory bodies and people from all walks of life across the UK to talk about why evidence matters.  There will be lively discussion about how to use and improve research evidence, with a drop-in installation in Upper Waiting Hall, and a collaborative programme of meetings, briefings and training across both Houses.

On Monday 25 June our President Phil Gomersall gave a condensed presentation, along with some other groups, at the launch of the inaugural week. It was a huge success and our message was a big hit with all MP’s in attendance. Phil feels that in future this is a field we can contribute to at Government level.
